  • A special session on how to determine the atmospheric boundary layer height from measurements and model data?
Dear colleagues,

We would like to draw your attention to a special session on

How to determine the atmospheric boundary layer height
from measurements and model data?

This session is part of the programme of the 9th Annual Meeting of the European Meteorological
Society (EMS) under the theme "Atmosphere and the Water Cycle" (AW), it is labelled in the
programme as AW14.
We think that this session offers interesting possibilities to discuss recent results and future
challenges in the field of atmospheric (boundary layer) measurements and modelling, and we would
invite you to consider submitting an abstract.
The 9th EMS Annual Meeting will take place 28 September - 2 October 2009 in Toulouse, France.
The whole event has a thematic focus on "High Resolution Meteorology - Applications and Services.
The scientific programme and abstract submission are now accessible at:
Deadline for abstract submission: 08 May 2009.
Deadline for abstract submission with YSTA, Kipp&Zonen Award and waiver application: 17 April 2009.
Information on registration, accommodation, travel routes, awards, visa requirements, social events
